A retro-style twin-stick shooter

Cyberhunt is a premium shoot-em-up game from NukGames where players are tasked to take down enemies in space while also destroying asteroids that get in their way. This action game employs a twin-stick shooter type of gameplay that fans of classic arcade games can enjoy and easily pick up.

Cyberhunt also takes inspiration from iconic titles such as Space Invaders, Galaxian, and Asteroids, which also heavily feature space crafts that must shoot hordes of enemies at a time before having to face a boss opponent. You can also look forward to numerous exciting levels to play through, as well.

Collect achievements as you go

With procedurally generated battles up for you to engage in, Cyberhunt creates a unique experience that allows players to experience the game in different ways all while engaging in more challenges along the way. This sort of gameplay can lead to some unnecessarily difficult levels, however, players also have the opportunity to switch between five different weapon types and four powerups to help boost their performance.

This action game also features two distinct gameplay modes—Arcade and Missions—which offer hours’ worth of entertainment and replayability. In Arcade mode, the objective is simple: obliterate enemies and asteroids in a bid to climb to the top of the global leaderboards. It's a classic high-score challenge that will keep you hooked for hours. Meanwhile, Missions mode offers a staggering 500 missions to conquer, accompanied by the gratification of unlocking unique achievements.

Additionally, the old-school pixel art graphics enhance the retro vibe, immersing you in a world of vibrant colors and charming simplicity. The game's six original audio tracks also contribute to the immersive experience, complementing the gameplay perfectly. In addition to the numerous achievements, you can collect trading cards within the game, as well. Best of all, the game offers cloud support so you never have to worry about losing any progress.

A modernized take on a classic genre

Overall, Cyberhunt captures the essence of classic arcade games while adding its own unique twists. With two gameplay modes and hundreds of missions to accomplish, players can expect an entertaining experience that can keep them occupied for hours. While some levels can be a little difficult to complete, the ability to earn various achievements can make all the work well worth it.
